If you are considering replacing an existing boiler or a new construction project, our heating techs can calculate the proper sizing and recommend a range of system choices that would meet your needs. We offer choices from high efficiency condensing boilers, combi systems, and cast iron or steel conventional water or steam boilers. Boiler choices include:

  • Gas or oil boilers
  • Traditional water or steam cast iron floor-mount, typically used as replacement system
  • New high technology wall hung boilers with stainless steel heat exchangers used in new construction or large-scale renovation
  • Gas fired efficiencies of up to 97% AFUE

Hydronic System Choices

If you are considering a system for your new home or business, there are a broad range of systems that can meet the demands of any application or budget.

  • Distribution system options:
    • Traditional hot water baseboard - typically aluminum fined tube in painted steel cabinets are the most budget friendly option.
    • Modern in-floor radiant system typically with PEX tubing offer luxurious soundless comfort.
    • Air handlers offer a multi-zone HVAC solution for four season comfort.
  • Zoning Choices:
    • A huge benefit of hydronic systems is that they can be affordably zoned giving owners the ability to control different areas of the homes comfort levels independently. *Zone circulator pumps
    • Manifolded zone valve systems
  • System venting: the products of combustion need to be vented safely to the outdoors.
    • Traditional masonry or b-vent chimney used for non condensing systems with efficiencies of less than 90% AFUE
    • Direct Vent: sidewall vented typically with galvanize of stainless steel on selected gas boilers with AFUE efficiencies of 82 - 87%
    • 90%+ Condensing system low temperature venting typically utilizing PVC
  • Heat Exchangers:
    • Traditional cast-iron heat exchanger is still a great choice on floor mounted chimney vented systems
    • Efficient stainless: New high-efficiency systems utilize stainless steel heat exchangers that are more durable in lower temperature environments that produce condensate as a by-product of combustion.
  • Domestic Hot Water Choices:
    • Indirect water heaters: Storage type water heaters with a water to water heater exchanger that are piped as a zone or your gas or oil boiler.
    • High efficiency combi boilers with integrated on demand domestic hot water
